My passage into real estate started in late 1988 when, as a builder, I read an article in The Press about studying valuation at Lincoln University. In 1992 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and Management degree, I started my real estate career with Berry Real Estate working out of their Normans Road Office.
Berry’s trained me well and within a short time, I was their top salesperson, negotiating over one hundred contracts in my second year in the job. During this time I trialed and perfected the ‘By Negotiation Over’ pricing strategy.
In 1995, along with Phil Trengrove and Maurice Tallott, I set up TLT Real Estate, a company that developed a successful specialist geographical approach to real estate sales.
In 2002 I set out on my own, trading as Lomax Real Estate and have now aligned myself with Mike Pero Real Estate as I believe in today’s market it is essential that sellers and buyers seek the services of a strong, trustworthy brand with a highly skilled and dedicated sales team.
My focus now, along with Jackie my wife, is to apply all that experience and knowledge into delivering a high level of skill and service, at a fair fee, to sellers and buyers within the St Albans, Papanui, Strowan and surrounding areas.
